People in the Far West Local Health District region have an opportunity to have a direct influence on the LHD’s strategic priorities now and in the future and how to better meet the needs of the community.
The Far West LHD draft Strategic Plan 2016-2021 outlining strategic priorities for health services across the LHD was released for public consultation today.
The Strategic Plan outlines needs, current services and expected changes in population, and frames potential priorities to focus the directions of health services in each community.
The LHD wants the communities to participate in planning future services so that the health service can come up with a direction that better meets their health needs.
Respondents are asked to provide their views on each of the strategic priorities outlined in the plan.
