Far West LHD at NAIDOC Family Fun Day Broken Hill – Thursday 4 October
The Far West Local Health District is joining in with the community celebration at the Aboriginal Family Fun Day in Sturt Park on Thursday, 4 October from 10am to 2pm.
Staff from the Far West Local Health District will be helping to celebrate with a marquee area filled with many different activities for children and adults.
The focus of the health marquee will be about having fun such as making a flag; face painting; creating with play dough and teeth brushing for healthy teeth. Mum, dads, uncles and aunties can have a chat about working for the health service or fill in a ticket in the raffle.
Lead Ted Jnr will be making a special appearance between 11.00am to 11.30am and children can have a photo with him.
The LHD is excited to be a part of this NAIDOC fun day and there will be giveaways for everyone who visits the healthy marquee.
