Sexual health workshop for GLBTI community in Broken Hill

The Far West Local Health District is proud to support a sexual health workshop for the GLBTI (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex) community in Broken Hill.

‘Adult Themes’ is a three-hour workshop that covers sexual health and sexual ethics for anyone identifying as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or intersex.

The workshop will be held on Thursday, 30 June from 5.30pm to 8.30pm at the Musicians Club Twilight Room with light refreshments provided.

The workshop is being run by ACON (previously known as the AIDS Council of NSW) with support from the Far West LHD. The Broken Hill Sexual Health and Liver Clinic will have a presence at the workshop and be providing educational resources, information and advice to participants.

The workshop provides an opportunity for local GLBTI people to gain a deeper understanding of how to look after their sexual health.

Local GLBTI people will learn more about sexual health, HIV, STIs, risk, safe sex and sexual ethics.

For more information about the workshop and to register please contact Teddy Cook from ACON on 02 9206 2114 or
