Mr Stephen Rodwell has accepted the position of Chief Executive of the Far West Local Health District.
Far West LHD Board Chair, Dr Andrew Refshauge, welcomed the appointment.
“The Board is delighted that Steve has accepted the offer to become the Chief Executive of the Far West LHD,” he said.
“We are impressed by his depth of experience, his commitment to quality health care and his determination to improve the health of the community.
“Steve understands the need for collaboration with a number of health service providers to deliver a comprehensive system. We very much welcome his leadership,” said Dr Refshauge.
Mr Rodwell came to the Far West from Mid North Coast LHD, where he had been the Executive Director Nursing, Midwifery and Workforce since March 2011.
Mr Rodwell has been in the acting role as Chief Executive for Far West LHD since early July this year, when former Chief Executive Stuart Riley left the position after six years to return to Adelaide.
